Action Against Hunger is seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Field Coordinator.
The organisation is a global humanitarian outfit that takes action against the causes and effects of hunger.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the implementation of ACF’s mission strategy in the intervention area
- Coordinate all the implementation of programmes in the intervention area
- Manage teams in area of intervention
- Facilitate relations with the coordination team
- Represent ACF and ensure relations with partners, clusters, authorities, United Nations agencies and NGOs in its area of intervention
- Ensure reporting and communication
- Ensure security management (jointly with the base security manager)
- Supervise and guarantee the smooth running of the activities of the support functions
Requirements
- Degree related to the ACF business sectors
- Experience in managing security in unstable environments
- Solid management skills
- Good communicator that can unite programme and support teams around common issues
- Good programme coordination and planning skills
- Experience with ACF will be a plus
