Location: Khartoum, Sudan

Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) is seeking to fill the role of Country Logistics Volunteer.

ACTED is an international non-governmental organisation pursuing a dual mandate of emergency response and development interventions in the world’s most vulnerable countries affected by conflicts, disasters or socio-economic hardship.

Responsibilities

Assist the country logistics manager to reinforce logistics processes in the country
Provide technical support and capacity building to the logistics staff
Support the country director for logistics management in case of the country logistics manager/country logistics officer’s absence

Requirements

Postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, preferably at master’s level
Experience in logistics in a professional environment (internship)
Familiarity with basic office software programmes
Knowledge of the humanitarian field will be an asset
