Agency for Technical Cooperation and Development (ACTED) is seeking to fill the role of Country Logistics Volunteer.
ACTED is an international non-governmental organisation pursuing a dual mandate of emergency response and development interventions in the world’s most vulnerable countries affected by conflicts, disasters or socio-economic hardship.
Responsibilities
- Assist the country logistics manager to reinforce logistics processes in the country
- Provide technical support and capacity building to the logistics staff
- Support the country director for logistics management in case of the country logistics manager/country logistics officer’s absence
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent, preferably at master’s level
- Experience in logistics in a professional environment (internship)
- Familiarity with basic office software programmes
- Knowledge of the humanitarian field will be an asset
